Casualuniforms was founded by two barbershoppers and their wives. After years of "re-inventing the wheel" each time their own chorus or quartets needed new uniforms, they felt there must be a better way.

Finding quality garments that can be augmented in future years as a chorus grows is frustrating and expensive. Often a group will buy a garment only to find it doesn't hold up to laundering and doesn't look very good after only a few washings. The golf shirt on the rack at your favorite department store looked great on the slim mannequin but doesn't look so good on your 300 lb. bass. And the sales clerk told you that "yep, we have these shirts every year" doesn't work there anymore and nobody knows anything about the shirt you bought. Styles change and retail stores don't have any interest in selling you the same shirt every year. They want you to buy the latest styles.

Casualuniforms' mission is to research the market and find the best garments for barbershoppers and other similar groups, both male and female. We personally evaluate each garment by wearing and laundering them. We evaluate the manufacturer/supplier to determine their ability and commitment to manufacture and stock these garments in the future. We negotiate the best possible price for the garment. We put a premium on the garment being "stage worthy" , both in design and crispness after washing. An example is our "singers shirt" which has been manufactured for sixteen years in a dozen basic colors. It is durable, doesn't fade and needs little if any pressing. Our chorus has used this shirt for four years with great results. We sell this shirt for $26 with your embroidered logo... an unbelievably low price for such a quality garment.
